Leading European CRM technology provider Eudonet acquires Business Association CRM specialist Syrah Informatique

5th October 2018

Eudonet, the leading CRM technology provider in Europe, has acquired French firm Syrah Informatique. This acquisition will considerably increase Eudonet’s presence in one of their key markets: The Professional Associations sector in France.
Since its creation in 2001 by Pascal Lacombe, the Marseille company Syrah Informatique has been a specialist in providing CRMs to employer organisations such as the Entrepreneurs’ Federation (MEDEF), the Union of Metallurgists (UIMM) and the Federation of SMEs (CPME) and their subnational entities. Their flagship software Griotte is currently used by over 170 employer organisations and unions, making it the most used software in the French market sector.

Syrah began a technological overhaul of Griotte last year. In spring 2018, Eudonet offered to make its own technology available to Syrah, enabling them to use the Eudonet platform to create a new generation of the Griotte solution. The two teams are currently finalising the latest generation of Eudonet together, integrating the best of Griotte’s features into Eudonet’s next generation platform technology. Following the public launch of the new software, scheduled for November 2018, current Griotte users will be able to migrate to the new version of Eudonet at preferential rates.

“This acquisition is excellent news for Syrah Informatique. Following advances in technology, we’ve been searching for a partner to help us provide a sustainable solution for our clients. Eudonet technology, and in particular their software for Professional Associations, fits the bill perfectly”

Pascal Lacombe, founder of Syrah Informatique.

“We are delighted to welcome the Syrah team and their clients to the Eudonet group. This acquisition increases our presence in the Professional Association sector in France as part of our core strategy”

Antoine Henry, CEO of Eudonet.
